Meat Once A Year!
The month of Dhul Hijjah reminds us of the legacy of the sacrifice made by prophet Ibrahim(AS). Muslims around the globe sacrifice animals during Eid ul Adha and enjoy the meat with families and friends. While most of us enjoy meat frequently, many families look forward to this one holiday to have fresh meat on their plates. For many people affected by cyclone Yaas in Shatkhira, refugees in the Rohingya camps, and currently distressed people due to COVID pandemic, this is the only time in the year when they are able to eat meat. In Quran Allah swt says, “Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only).” (108:2)
When you do your Qurbani with NABIC, we make sure that the most vulnerable families are
prioritized to receive the best quality meat. This year, NABIC will again partner with local organizations in Bangladesh to reach out to the underprivileged families by giving them meat to feed their entire family.
“Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you.” Surah Al Hajj, 22:37
Please take this opportunity to share your sacrifice with the neediest ones. NABIC will collect your Qurbani money and share your gift of meat with people in Rohingya camps & victims of cyclone Amphan.
If interested please confirm your Qurbani share by Sunday July 17, 2021 so we can make arrangements accordingly.
Alhamdulillah with your support last year NABIC has arranged to perform Qurbani/Udhiya on your behalf in Rohingya camp. Thank you for your generous contribution, we were able to feed over 3000 families.

Flood Victims in Bangladesh needs your help!

Our beloved country Bangladesh is facing a devastating flood while suffering from the COVID pandemic and is in urgent need of our help. Close to one-third of Bangladesh is underwater, Forecasts predict that the country will experience worse flooding in the coming days. Already, more than 2.8 million people have been affected, including over 1 million who remain isolated and surrounded by floodwaters, according to the Bangladesh Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
As NABIC has always given support to our brothers & sisters in need, in response to the flood crisis, the NABIC board has decided to provide $10,000 from our emergency relief fund. Our local partner from the flood-affected area is getting ready to distribute emergency relief with NABIC funds. We need more support. On behalf of NABIC, we appeal to you to donate generously during these blesses days to mitigate the sufferings of our brothers and sisters in Bangladesh and save lives.
