Dr. Altaf Husain serves as a professor and chair of the Community, Administration and Policy Practice concentration in the Howard University School of Social Work, in Washington DC. He holds a doctoral degree from the Howard University School of Social Work in Washington D.C. He is a double alumnus of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Husain is a former two-term national president of the Muslim Students Association, vice president of Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a current executive committee member of the Muslim Alliance in North America, and a board member of the Peaceful Families Project. He is married and has four sons.
