Ahmed Zawad Chowdhury is the first Gold Medalist from Bangladesh at the International Mathematical Olympiad. He has participated in the International Math Olympiad three times, with awards progressing from Bronze to Silver to Gold. He has also authored ‘Goniter Shwapnojatra’, a resource for mathematical problem solving in Bangla. Zawad is currently an undergrad at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying Mathematics.
