Abu Qutubuddin, MD, Member

Born in Narayanganj, Bangladesh, migrated to the United States in ’80s. Pursued his carrier as a medical doctor specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurology specializing in Movement Disorders. Presently he is working as an Associate Director of Rehabilitation, Parkinson’s Disease Research and Education Center (PADRECC) at McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond. He is also a full-time faculty of the Department of PM&R and Neurology, Virginia Commonwealth University MCV Campus, Richmond, VA.
Dr. Qutubuddin has been working with different faith-based organizations for many years. He was the past two times president of the Islamic Center of Virginia (ICVA), Richmond. Presently he is one of the advisers of ICVA. He is actively involved with the Chittagong Medical College Alumni and the chairperson of their Board of Directors. He is married to Dr. Shaheen Mustafa, Staff Psychiatrist at McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond, VA. Dr. Qutubuddin is an active member of the American Medical Association, International Association of PM&R, American Academy of PM&R, Richmond Academy of Medicine.
