Mr. Azhar Azeez

Mr. Azhar Azeez is the CEO of Muslim Aid USA (MAUSA) and a widely respected leader in the American Muslim community. Originally from Hyderabad, India, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA. After a successful corporate career at General Electric and Capital One, he dedicated himself to humanitarian work, serving in executive roles at Islamic Relief USA for over 16 years. Mr. Azeez was twice elected President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the oldest Muslim organization in the U.S. and Canada. He is also a former President of the North Texas Islamic Council and the founding President of the Islamic Association of Carrollton, TX. Known nationally for his interfaith outreach and motivational speaking, he has addressed audiences in over 600 cities across North America and has advised Presidents Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. He currently serves on the board of The Islamic Seminary of America and resides in Plano, Texas with his family.
