Rohingya Revival Project (Flagship Program)

In 2017, nearly one million Rohingya refugees fled Myanmar to escape ethnic cleansing. Bangladesh opened its borders, and NABIC immediately responded with comprehensive humanitarian aid.

Key Contributions:

• Established a full-service clinic treating ~200 patients daily (primarily women and children); over 60,000 treated to date.
• Launched 10 satellite clinics, now consolidated into a comprehensive care facility.
• Distributed hygiene kits, baby supplies, mobility equipment for the disabled, tents, mats, mosquito nets, lanterns, and winter clothing.
• Built clean water systems, covered showers, and restrooms.
• Provided education for 500 Rohingya children, employing local teachers and offering classes in English, Math, and the Rakhine language.

Ongoing Support:

• Free Medical Clinic: $15,000/month (~$4 per patient)
• Education & Nutrition for 750 children in 5 centers: $2,500/month per center

Emergency Relief Efforts

• Annual winter clothing drives and flood relief operations across Bangladesh.
• Flood relief and rehabilitation as neded.

COVID-19 response: 5,500 families received food relief across urban and rural areas; 5,000 Rohingya families received hygiene supplies.
