Gabura Children & Family Empowerment (Satkhira)

Gabura, a remote cyclone-prone region, continues to benefit from NABIC’s long-term poverty alleviation work:

Programs Include:

• Supporting 400 orphans and vulnerable children with healthcare, stipends, and education supplies.
• Constructing 10 clean water ponds with filtration systems.
• Providing vocational training to women in sewing, livestock rearing, and small enterprise development.
• Funding income-generating activities (IGA) benefiting over 200 families.
• Operating 8 free primary school for local children.

Many families have achieved self-sufficiency, now independently supporting their children’s education.
