NABIC in collaboration with Bay Area Bangladeshi Associaton (BABA) started a project named Bangladeshi American Community for Charity (BACC). The focus of this project is to provide food to the poorest in the Bay Area, California. Most of the recipients will be local families on government subsidies whose food stamp benefits do not suffice for an entire month. NABIC will provide $5,000 for this project. We are also partnering with Rahima Foundation for the distribution.
Memphis Muslim Clinic (MMMC) is the first US based healthcare project of NABIC. The clinic serves the uninsured poor Muslim and non-Muslims in Memphis area. NABIC has provided $5000 in 2018 to expand the services of the clinic. The clinic administration is considering a new week-day clinic which will cost about $25K per year. This weekly clinic will increase the current capacity of MMMC by 50% and will allow to add over 500 clinic visits/year. With the fund provided by NABIC, the clinic will be able to do week-day clinic and serve more patients.
NABIC is providing funds to Midtown Mosque Mobile Food Pantry to help distribute packaged food every month to financially disadvantaged community members in Memphis. The program is supported by the work of 15 volunteers. At its current capacity, the program is able to provide food for 80 individuals. In 2017 NABIC provided $2K to support this project.
NABIC has been financially supporting ‘Ansaar of Worcester’ food pantry since its inception in 2017. This pantry provides essential food items to financially disadvantaged community members of Worcester including refugees and immigrants who have settled there. And, also extend the efforts to helping local residents who are otherwise undeserved. Ansaar does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, lifestyle, or any other basis, and extends services to anyone struggling with basic necessities. NABIC has been supporting this pantry from inception. So far NABIC provided $15K.

NABIC partnered with other organizations to arrange Qurbani/Udhiya in USA to help our countrymen in areas where there is a need. In 2017 we collaborated with a local partner. In 2017 all the Qurbani meat were distributed to the Refugee families.

Since 2016 NABIC has been working with other local organization in Memphis to give gifts to non-Muslim during Ramadan and Eid.
Gifts consisted of scented candles and boxed candy in the past.

NABIC has been providing funds to Halal Food Pantry program at Masjid Al-Mu’minun in Memphis since 2016. This program supports the community members in need irrespective of race, religion and ethnicity.

Over the years rs NABIC has orchestrated Essay and Qirat competitions in different cities in USA for students in New York, Dallas & Boston.
Since 2012 NABIC offered $ 120,000/- scholarships to talented students in NY, Memphis and Missouri.
